Upcoming recall item

Warning! The following contains spoilers for new content in beta 13.
I recently got to the point where I was so tired of trekking back through already-cleared dungeons that I just added the Angolwen teleport ability to every class. I'm finding my experience vastly improved now, and not just because of the eliminated tedium. Double-clearing each early dungeon was causing me to over level, rendering much of the early game content extremely dull. This solved that nicely. After playing through the early game with my makeshift recall, I can say that I'm not eager to play without it again. I would therefore suggest that the upcoming recall item in beta 13 be dropped by Bill. This would make the starting dungeon have a nice drop for any class (except possibly archmages). I think it would feel rather like the thieves quest in T2's Bree: an early, relaxed quest that results in something that everybody should badly want to make the rest of the game more enjoyable.
Bonus idea: maybe this is the treasure that the scraps of papers in the Trollshaws hinted at.
