I just unlocked tempests: very cool! I was playing a dwarf berserker to see how the new talents work, and this was the first battle in a while that was challenging (the char was lvl 19, using Bill's trunk). So far, the new berserker talents look good, though I'm still worried about carn dum.
I'll play the tempests once I kill this guy off...

Um, any chance the Tempest discussion could be moved to spoilers? I haven't even unlocked Archmages yet, and am having quite a bit of fun discovering things for myself. I don't want to accidentally read anything inappropriate.

sorry... I forgot that this wasn't in b12.
I'll be sure not to mention anything about them outside the spoilers.

well, I've been playing them (svn 1559, I think) and they look really cool. One thing that may be a bug, the sustained talents like Arcane Power do not reactivate when levelling up.

Ah, is this the strangeness that affects Bree? That was a surprisingly nasty fight.

Must confess, the poor folk of Bree have to endure those storm chappies for a loooong time - maybe there should be a series of 'scared hobbit' chats of declining welcome which are selected by what level you're at - if you drop in just before heading away East, maybe ...
"Oh hello stranger, finally decided to pop back did you. Well we've had this cloud over the town for four months now and most of us are toast, but if you could drag your cowardly ass to those wizards you've visited thirteen times already, we'd be most obliged."

Yeah, once you get Angolwen access, it's easy to forget Bree. I've done that too, and was quite...surprised when I happened to stumble into Bree during a game where I had delayed opening Angolwen.
Someone in chat suggested putting a lightning storm graphical effect on the town, so people know something's happening
