Warper + Summon Control = Game Breaker?

I got this idea when I saw my maxed talent warper using phase door on OTHER creatures, meaning it has level 5 phase door. This is only a theory, but...
Say, on the boss level, you use Earth's eyes to reveal the entire map. Then you use Warper and use summon control to have it phase door into the surrounding rooms to scout out. Once it finds the boss, the boss immediately kills the warper. But, since the warper just teleported into the room out of nowhere, the boss still has no idea where you are. Then you can use your warper to phase door hydras and stuff into the boss' room until it dies.
Doesn't matter what the boss can do since it never sees you.
Completely untested, but..... What do you think?

Makes me want to play a summoner. Maybe I'll check them out again if my son stays asleep.

I love it when I see new strategies!

I was going to try it but my summoner died due to holding down the 5 key at a stupid time.
I need a better way to wait for cooldowns >.<
Also, thanks. This strategy seemed kinda unfair to me because I don't think bosses can really beat it but.... I remembered that this game really isn't fair in the first place. xD

It's beta. Finding stuff like this is what it's all about.
A creature that's aggrod on a summon mob doesn't transfer that aggro to the player though once the creature dies?

Yeah, This works. I just used this to kill the master. FINALLY KILLED HIM!
Seems to me if you aren't in sight the enemies stop moving entirely once the summon is gone.
That being said, I've got a bug to report.

Makes me curious how tough the summoned bear is at tl 5.
Phase Door, Sense, Nature's Ally 5. Kill bosses without spending a single class talent point.. . MWHAHAHA!!!

Whatabout MP costs, though? Do bosses heal fast enough so you'll have to use mp pots or can you just rest? I had like 150 equilibrium by the time I was done (Used meditation twice too - LONGEST BOSS BATTLE EVER.)
And, it looks like my character is lost to a bug.... again. *Points to bugs section*

I think it'd be more rest cycles waiting on the Nature's Ally cooldown then anything else.

Also, one of the craziest things I've done with this is summoned a warper, summon controlled it, then phase shift myself (The @ character, not the warper) away.
.... very roundabout way to phase shift away from danger, but there you go. Maybe time prison would work as well.
Hey, maybe you could summon a turtle, have it taunt, then time prison it to make certain it doesn't die.

I used that technique a lot in D&D if I happened to be a conjurer of some type. Summon a beasty, let it find out what is on the other side of the wall. Very smart, I haven't had a summoner live long enough to do that yet though.
Concerning equilibrium though, what is that exactly? A percentage chance to fail an action that requires equilibrium or something else entirely? I just can't believe that I still fail with 0...

It's a messure of how much off-balance you are with nature.
It has no maximun and the higher it is the higher the failure chance get (but it's not linear).
And yes it can fail at 0 because the failure chance counts the current equilibrium + the talent cost

Ah, thanks DG. I was kind of worried with my luck, I'd never really get to the big boys with a summoner. I'll just try to keep my talents a bit on the weaker side then and see how that works.
