Kinetic weapons?

What are supposed to do the kinetic weapons?
The only visible effect that I see is that the apr is dramatically reduced (for instance a regular iron dagger has an apr of 5, while a kinetic one has only an apr of 2)...
Is there any other effect to justify the extra price of the ego (I have not seen any in the code)?

I think its meant to increase APR but at the moment it suffers from the same bug as shields of deflection in that the ego replaces the APR value rather than adding to it.

Also, the name feels a bit weird in a fantasy setting - not to mention that, if we're getting technical, all of the game's weapons are 'kinetic'. Just sayin'. 'Armour piercing' would be much more descriptive, though a bit bland.

Or y'know just Piercing as in 'Piercing dagger of westernesse'

Fixed the bug and renamed to "phase foo"

How much damage does a foo do? Should be less than a bar.
