ego rough leather boots/caps

Are there any ego caps yet or ego boots besides the artifact? (If there aren't, I will stop identifying them.)

looking in /tome/data/general/objects/egos reveals this list of egos:
amulets
armor
lite
potions
rings
robe
scrolls
shield
staves
weapon

which means no boots/caps egos, if I'm correct.

You are correct, there are no shiny boots or caps...

There are now ego caps and helms, but still no ego boots.

The last one should be either a very low value or activated only. I'm pretty sure Darkgod is trying to keep speed increases extremely rare and permanent ones practically non-existent (Essence of Speed is the only permanent Speed increase in the game that I know of).

Or... how about boots of movement speed? Could decrease the energy cost of movement.

Anyhow here's another idea

Boots of Uncanny Dodging (Either straight up defense increase, ranged defense increase, or slow projectiles, take your pick)

Yes I'm trying to control tighly speed as this can quickly get out of hands. This is why the vast majority of NPCs have the same speed, same for players.

Weighted boots
Doubled encumbrance value, reduce movement speed by .2 but add 2-6 con, and 50% knock back resistance

Thick boots
Decrease the damage from snake and spider bite poison by 50%

boots of Stability
30% resistance to knock back and stuns

boots of Rushing
+1 effective talent in Rush and/or activate for Rush costing 15/20 (or whatever the cool down is)

boots of Stealth
Increase stealth talent category by .10-.20 or effective stealth talent level by 2

boots of Jumping
A controlled phase door effect but with only 5 range costing 30/30

boots of Levitation
Either permanent levitation (seeing as it doesn't seem to do anything yet?) or activate for levitation costing 10/20

boots of Trailing
Mobs will follow you (but not assault you) from a further distance and for a further distance but your movement speed is increased by .2
*Should not be able to be double ego with Weighted

boots of Evasion
When talent Evasion is used these passively double the duration of Evasion

boots of Resistance
Activated for resist 4 random damage types by 15% costing 100/100

boots of Fire resistance

boots of Cold resistance

boots of Nature resistance

boots of Acid resistance

I think they sounds like boots of walk faster but leave a trail.

Gwai has it right. I was thinking of something to let you run away better if it comes to that, but isn't all positives. After all, the faster you are running away the easier it is to track and find you.
