New Frontiers: a space exploration game

I am proud to announce the beginnings of a module called New Frontiers. In this module you explore new and strange planets. I have yet to decide on what the main goals is or player mechanics. The cool feature I hope that will make this module fun and interesting is the dynamic worlds. The plan is to have worlds that you can influence and watch change. I plan to break this module into several phases.

Phase 1 - Basic terrain changing
This phase consists of me setting up the infrastructure for the terrain. the terrain will have attributes like water level, heat ,mass, and others. so things with high water content will flow around and slowly become mud. that mud then can be frozen. There will also be a sand box to test all of this

Phase 2 - the atmosphere
This stage will add gases and such. for example water can flow into lava creating stone on the ground and steam in the air that can scald people. Things in the air can merge like smoke can combine with acid fumes to make acid smoke.

Phase 3 - world generation
This were I will actually generate new worlds and such. also in this stage I should have developed player classes and stats. Also the world may have weather patterns to.

Phase 4 creatures and combat
Ideally I would evolve creatures for each world. so in a lava world the creatures would have adapted to the lava.

Phase 5 Civilizations
hopefully the creatures will be able to work together and even explore on their own. The player may have the option to birth as a member of a civilization (he may be a lone survivor)

That is the current layout and plan. I should point out that all phases after phase 2 will have sub stages.

Hopefully I can finish this and it will be enjoyable.

Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions and questions are welcomed

Maybe one of these days I'll figure out how I wanna do my SF module. Then again, the rate at which I work, prolly won't happen. *mutters at his init.lua showing that he hasn't done anything since b10* Anyhow. Looks nice Goblinz!
