Uniques and Armors

Hi, since a long time i play this game (never finish, only nightmare difficulty with close combattants classes, 408 hours of game on) and i have 2 majors feelings :
Uniques items :
- Why i always almost have all the daggers uniques in each run and never more more rarely others ?
- Why so less one-handed uniques weapons ?
On armors :
- Heavy armors are so useless compared to light armor, same for warriors. Resistance are so much precious than "armor" stat, i always prefer going light armor same for warrior for this reason. Armor should take "spell" on it (not "mind" etc of course but fire, cold, acid, lightning, yes !)
A good robe with "physical resistance" + "resistance all" doing the same in better than an big armor and it's a non-sens for me
All my character with heavy armor + life regeneration died sooner than characters with "robe résistance".
Plus :
- why not some spell with "incantation time" ? Magic damage one shot me all the time at the end of the most of my runs
