Demonologist vs Demonologist - Demon seed drops

I think it would be interesting if enemy Demonologists dropped, or had a chance to drop, some of their Demon Seeds for any character that themselves had the Demon Seed ability. Could be an interesting way to get seeds you might not necessarily have access to quite yet, or even provide special unique demon seeds. E.g., kill a rare Demonologist, have a chance to get a rare demon in seed form.

*raises finger* Why limit it to demonologists being able to get them, though? Open it up to everyone, heck, let tinkers join the fun, too. While you're at it, alchemists could have a chance to drop relevant kit with gems stuck in 'em, afflicted could drop cursed stuff, mindslayers could have their drops slightly enhanced as per finer energy manipulation. No half measures, go all out!

I don't want it to be a form of power creep for every class, though. If Demonologist enemies drop seeds that just anyone can use, why be a Demonologist at all? If enemies drop class/metaclass-unique things for players of the same class, that's fine, but if they drop for other classes it could be a form of power creep, and a general balance issue.

Demonologists have other talents besides demon seed
Including stuff that interacts with demon seed, really. Same with tinkers (which if you finagled things so steam generators still didn't drop, would be fairly limited so far as the fancy stuff goes). Alch and mindslayer would be a straight upgrade, tho'... curses a straight down without the tree. Might make up for alchs dumping all those alch gems on you
It's actually something you'd have to worry about
with demonologist (and, well, all of them), too, though, now that I think about it. If enemy demos are dropping seeds, why do you need to invest in the initial demon seed talents at all, other than to get more? Unless they only drop based on normal rules (i.e. they won't drop something you can't already get), in which case it doesn't really add much beyond what amounts to an occasional double seed drop (which. Please no? If they're not giving you something you can't get and just adding even
more seed clutter, that would kinda' suck, haha).
Mind, I wouldn't be
against letting class/metaclass stuff drop for related classes. Would be a bit of a buff for those classes, but marginally more interesting, too, so sure. It'd just be even neater if you opened the wormcan for everyone, creep or no creep.

Hmm,
yeah, i agree with the viewpoints argued here. Tinkers, Demon seeds etc. can be a problem if everybody uses them. That being said, if there was a limit to their usage, say in the form of requirements for use(steam/vim) this would be possible. Not sure how i'd feel about that, but still. It should also be a consideration to limit the power of the dropped once, as it should not be in competition with classes that actually use them.
