ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Occasionally when I change maps, it takes a little bit before the map change begins to visibly occur, and during that time period I will have hit the change stairs hotkey again .... leading to me switching maps multiple times. This is especially aggravating since it can lead to multiple occasions of saving.
