Give them Survival unlocked too while we're at it. Because seriously.

wyrmic is so OP that if they had 1.3 mastery they would win madness.

honestly they need 0.5 mastery, if they have any higher they might win insane too easily.

At least 1.1, agreed. At least psiblade wyrmic is also a thing.

Survival could stand to be unlocked by default on every class?

Even at 1.1 mastery, Staff Raze Wyrmic with Telos is probably better than 2h. If they have anything less than 1.3 then breaths need some serious changes because right now the best way to play wyrmic is just go Psiblades and abuse their OP stuff like Burrow and Ice Wall.

Wyrmic deserves more mastery in Combat Training than Psyshot and Gunslinger.

I would prefer Wyrmic to be a psiblade warrior (or psiclaw if someone would design a wyrmic-specific mindstar melee tree). Instead of boosting the viability of 2H and shield builds, we could have scrapped the routine 2H and shield trees and add more class-specific trees to make the psiblade based combat more interesting. Build diversity is not sacrificed as there will be more trees to choose from for a psiblade melee class.

But from a practicality perspective, yes I agree that boosting combat mastery to 1.3 is a good idea. There have been so many threads about redesigning wyrmics but none of them lead to actual change, but this is easy to achieve to make 2H and shield builds more appealing.
