It's getting ridiculous - almost every guide suggests PES as the uber-prodigy. Clearly an unbalanced prodigy, especially so given it requires a DLC addon.

Before PES, guides had more lengthy discussions of pros and cons of combos of prodigies, with often finely-balanced decisions needing to be made between which two to ultimately choose. Now its PES and hmmm, whatever.

And so, it will be fourth(?IIRC) PES nerf in a row. Meanwhile Subcutaneous Metallisation reached the bottom after one direct nerf and flat DR scaling change.

PES is already nerfed enough. Aside from non-Strength weapon classes it's not that great because of its bad uptime. Superpower is better on mind classes now (though taking both isn't bad) and you don't want PES on magic classes anyway.

Yeah PES is fine

hasn't it been nerfed enough? it even has a bad uptime now.

Yeah, a lot of those guides pre-date 1.5, which cut the uptime nearly in half.

I think PES could stand to increase strength again now that it has that cooldown on it

That may be too good with ICCTW, since you can hit around 150 Str with ICCTW making it 225 with PES.

Ok. Sounds like the recent nerf had done the trick. Time for folk to update their guides
