Ability to "Lock on" to a target

There are times when I'm fighting a particularly scary boss and I find myself checking his mouseover information every turn, to see how much damage I'm doing, how I'm affecting his resistances, and how his buffs/debuffs are looking.
I think it would be great if I could "Lock On" to a target, so that their mouseover information was present for the whole battle. Obviously if they teleport out of view or go invisible it would grey out, but once they were in view again it would pop back up.
I find, for example, it can be hard to keep track of "The Master" when there are a dozen other vampires around.
