New Prodigy: Pandora's Box

I'm not sure which prodigy this ought to replace so I'll skip that and move right on to the prodigy concept itself. This is rough and open to any thoughts. Discussion is welcome. If you're going to criticize though, please offer an alternative rather than just "I hate this..." Here it is:
Taking this prodigy unleashes evil into the world, leaving hope:
1. Allows for spawning of "cursed" egos on equipment. I'll return to what I think these ought to be later.
2. Spawns 3 new random event bosses. I don't really have any ideas about these ought to be.
3. Grants an artifact light, called hope.
Hope:
powered by unknown forces
telepathy: dragon, human, orc, and demon.
Increases ALL talent categories by .10
Light radius: 7
Can only die when reaching -100 life.
Flat damage reduction: 40.
When used:
Blast with radius 7 that reduces all enemy saves by 50% for 8 turns. Cool down: 30.
Cursed egos:
I think five is a good number of cursed egos. These can show up anywhere and have pointed negatives and noteworthy benefits. However, they reduce the amount of gold and energy generated when trans-whatevering them.
1. Curse of Despair... reduces mind saves and mind power by 20%. Allows any talent to scale off of 40% constitution instead of base stat, if it's higher. This includes prodigies. Stacks.
2. Curse of Ineptitude... only available on helmets and weapons. All class skills have 10% chance of failure. Reduces light and vision radius by 1. Gains universal crit multiplier of 80% and all crit chance by 5%. Stacks.
3. Curse of Paralysis... Reduces movement speed by 20%. Each turn in which you do move, you gain 10% resist all for 2 turns, stacks up to 25%.
4. Curse of Terror... Lowers resistance to fears by 30%, i.e. can reduce immunities from undead. Mana generated in excess of maximum is converted to a damage shield, up to 30 per turn (great synergy with disruption shield and mana-generating effects), instead of being wasted. It either creates a damage shield or adds to an existing one. Stacks.
5. Curse of Identity... Reduces racial category by 0.10. Increases life regen by 5.0 per turn (the cornac special, ha ha). Stacks.
