Ring of the war master, Butcher, and possibly Murderblade

So, Ring of the war master seems to cover pretty much all the techniques, but the reworked two-handed assault tree seems to be missing out.
This might be because the ring I have in my vault is from older save, but if my memory isn't lying, I found it in the current version of ToME and vaulted it.
And whilst the new tree is missing, the older two-handed trees (weapon, maiming) are still there, which is okayish I suppose for adventurers.
The latter applies to Warmaster Gnarg's Murderblade as well, having +cat for three two-handed categories (assault, weapon, maiming), even though Borosk's hate, which seems to share much of Murderblade's stats, only boosts assault.
About the Butcher, while I love pretty much everything about the sword, there's something which I find rather weird, is that the category boosted by the sword is slaughter, which has cleave as the last talent that benefits the most from using two-handed weapons, while Butcher is actually one-handed weapon.
The wiki says the category boosted (other than the rampage boost, which is fine) is predator, so maybe mine is outdated, but I am very sure that I got the sword in this version of ToME.
I suppose that the rest of slaughter tree is fine with pretty much any cursed build, but it would make more sense if it was either a two-handed weapon or boosted strife category.
TL;DR
Ring of the war master boosts non-existent categories for two-handed weapons, Warmaster Gnarg's Murderblade boosts both existent and non-existent categories for two-handed weapons, and Borosk's Hate boosts only existent category for two-handed weapon. Weird.
Butcher boosts category which would make more sense if it was two-handed weapon; maybe it should be changed to two-handed or boost the sword and board category?
