A possible Glacial Vapours replacement idea

So we all know this spell's a joke right? Well, here's a few ideas for replacement spells that might make interesting alternatives.
Name: Brine
Type: Sustained
Description: Before the power of the sea, mountains fall to sand, ships are lost, never to be seen again, and dark things dwell where light never touches. Tap into the heart of the ocean to convert <10/20/27/35/50>% if your cold damage into acid. At level 5, adds a knockback chance to every spell which fails to freeze it's target.
Name: Geyser
Type: Activated
Description: A blast of icy water can knock a foe, and leave them soaking wet, but causes little harm. Can shatter ice. Deals <glacial vapour damage> but leaves the target wet, which (should) increase cold and lightning vulnerability, but give a resistence to fire. At level 3 this becomes a beam. At level 5, this becomes a cone.
Name: Crushing Abyss
Type: Activated
Description: The pressure of the ocean can overcome stone and metal, crumpling it. It can do the same to flesh, or ice. Deals <glacial vapour damage> to unfrozen targets, but the bends may leave them confused /off balance. Frozen targets, however, take <5%, 10%, 13%, 15%, 20%> of the ice block's remaining health as physical damage, and bleed for twice that over 5 turns, as shards of ice embed themselves in bodies.
Of course, personally I think spells from the water school should flow into one another and build up power as each washes over the enemy, rather than the hodgepodge of semi-related spells it is now.
