Am I missing an obvious alert or cue somewhere in the user interface when you can finally assign a point to a prodigy? I just made it to the upper 30's in my second Exploration run, and it dawned on me that I should have a prodigy available to me (which of course I did for several levels by that point). I made it through my first game without ever realizing that I had any prodigies available to me. If there isn't an obvious cue somewhere on the screen or in the level-up window that you should go to the Prodigies tab, perhaps there should be?

A reminder wouldn't hurt. The only thing reminding you about it is a faint glow on the Prodigies button.

I just hit level 42 and see what you mean about the Prodigies button glowing. The problem is, I never look in that corner of the screen, since for most of the game, you're looking at the left or upper-right of that window to see the abilities you can upgrade. The glowing is fairly subtle, too, so I never noticed it before. Perhaps the glowing should be more pronounced? Or something else should alert you to the fact that you've earned a Prodigy ability? Just some thoughts for the devs. Thanks!

so prodigy points don't keep the "you have unspent points" button and glow on on your xp meter?

It doesn't highlight your XP bar when you only have unspent prodigy points, and I think this is intended because players will often wait to spent their points if they need to satisfy some of the more specific requirements of a prodigy they want.

I agree that the glowing effect on the prodigy button could be made more conspicuous so people notice it when they open the level-up dialog. Maybe a mod can move this to Ideas?
