Beyond the Flesh valuing

Was looking this up as I missed the tooltip and it felt weird and I think this is a good idea. Playing a punchy adventurer with Beyond the Flesh and it basically reduces Glove modifier from 40/40/40 to 24/64, so about a 40 percent drop of stats go to item. Workaroundable with 7-8 generic points, but that's a big early spend.
It'd be better if it used best of default and ability or just had it for the TK item.
