Shield management

Hellu!

It would be awesome if there was a talent (or just a general feature) to manage your shields.
I.e. As i understand, the current order of shield-checks is:
1: time shield
2: damage shield (including Barrier and all Runes)
3: displacement shield
4: disruption shield
Meaning, if you have a sustained displacement shield AND a damage shield the displacement shield won't be checked until your damage shield is reduced to nothing.
I don't know if the reason for this is lore-specific, or if it's just something that's not seen as important. But when running around as a fragile archmage it's rather important.

the talent would be a talent like the "communicate with golem" or "command staff" type of talent, OR just a sub-menu somewhere.
This feels like a great addition to all the fragile classes out there :)!

Also, all credit for what i know is from this "shield managing" article found in the te4 wiki:

Sorry, I'm not totally clear what you're proposing. Do you want something to control the order of how shields are applied, or something like "auto-use when time shield expires"?

I think he's asking for a way to have Displacement shield apply first, so if it fails to displace, you can have a regular damage shield take the hit instead of your life.

Because otherwise, you might have a 50% chance to get one-shot (which is why Displacement is bad).

*chimes in agreement to what Matanui3 said*

It really makes displacement type stuff bad if it isn't almost first (Reflection or Time shield both have positive bonus effects on hit, so reasonably should beat it out).

I'm not entirely sure what the point of this thread is, but I do think that displacement shield should have the highest priority (or at least number 2) to be more valuable and allow for effective use of it.
