Remove the lumberjack village pop-up choice

Really minor, but I don't see WHY we even get a pop-up for the lumberjack village quest/cursed when there is no time limit on it. You could just say yes and then do the quest whenever you want, there is literally nothing to be gained in game, ever, by saying no.

The one thing it adds is the potential for selecting 'no' by mistake.

So basically: when wandering around the area, replace the choice (which you can refuse, again most likely by mistake) with a sinmple message/informative popup.

i see why you would want to remuve the "no" button, but i think it should still be hidden untill popup.
because haw would your character know its there? well, maybe it could reveal itself if you are close enough...
but there should still be the pop up, just without the "no" button.

Well, but that's what I meant :P . Remove the choice, keep the pop-up message/windows.

I just accidentally clicked "No" while moving around the map last night, so this gets my vote. Those poor lumberjacks...

Or we could go the other route have answering "no" make it turn into a level 20 area filled with undead/cursed villagers. :)

Ha! I like it. Gives you an alternative if you're good on levels and/or already have a pickaxe.

I could have sworn that it used to be a time limit thing, if you didn't get there quick enough you'd enter to everything being dead and Ben would be gone. I'm probably delusional though.

Anything with time limit should have hourglass I think, maybe in the quest logs, J, hourglass next to it. I wonder if the alchemist things have time on them, I never know what does or not. movement speed affected ability of that a lot also around map.

I just did the lumberjacks last night. Since I am playing on all uniques with 50 classes each so far, these were some amazing lumberjacks, I tell ya, lol. and yet a pile of them died before I got to the enemy : (. "Yup I'm an archmage with massive powers, gonna go chop some wood with my buddies who are just as epic. Oh no, some guy killed half of us!"

The one 'time limit' of sorts is that, the more lumberjacks survive, the more gold you get from what I remember. But you can always kill Ben unless you (again) said 'no' to the pop-up by mistake.

Thirding this. I usually murder every single lumberjack anyway.

Murdering the lumberjacks should have some evil affect happen to the character, like summons a demon you cant possibly defeat, and then the Eidolon refuses to resurrect you and sends you to Hell!

It's not particularly evil compared to doing some other stuff, though. So that would be out of place in my opinion. Granted, it would make sense if there was an effect for either refusing or joining Ben's slaughter (maybe an option for fellow Cursed only?). I doubt he'd be happy about you 'helping' him that way though...

To be fair, the lumberjack event is pretty boring. We need something to spice it up. Maybe... A keepsake like quest for doomed in there?
