Draconic Will and Draconic Body

First thing. Draconic Will is still probably too strong, even with the nerfs. It overshadows two other prodigies (Spine of the World and Unbreakable Will).

So the idea is to move the Draconic Body effect over to Draconic Will. Buff Unbreakable Will if needed (could work like Spine of the World for instance). And make Draconic Body a new effect.

The new effect would let you shapechange into a wyrm (Draconic Body afterall ;) ). The prodigy would have two 'talents'. One would let you select the form and the other would be the actual prodigy. This would let players change the wyrm type they want to use on the fly, or just set it and forget it if they have a favorite.

As far as what the shapechange actually does? Glad you asked!!

First of all it would replace your tile with a fricking great wyrm tile!! Do I need to go on? I thought not. But I will anyway because I love hearing myself talk.

Second of all it would remove the resist cap for the element. So a fire wyrm could have 100% fire resist. It would also double your resist to that damage type.

Third it would give you some damage when hit. Much like drakes have. The damage could scale with Con since it's a con prodigy.

Fourth it would increase your knockback immunity to 100% as well as Stun and Blind immunity to 80%. Sensing a theme here? I thought you might ;)

Fifthly, (wow, fifthly is a word!), anyway fifthly it would give you five talent points in the breath weapon appropriate to the drake type. Pretty lame for wyrmics I know, unless of course it stacks. So lets make it stack! Why should only 'real' dragons get rank 10+ breath weapons? They shouldn't!

Anyway, that's the idea. Thanks mex for coming up with it and SageAcrin and Supermini for taking the time to hash out some ideas in IRC.

*ninja edit* This would work like temporal form basically. I figured that was implied but maybe not. So yeah, 30 turn cooldown, 10 turns of being a dragon. Or something along those lines.

So this is a replacement for Draconic Will? But goes in the Con slot?
It seems very Wyrmic focussed and a bit too much like a Temporal Form copy.
Would be better as a Wyrmic talent.

So the idea is for the healing effect to replace Draconic Will, give Draconic Body a new effect because we moved the old one, and get rid of the 5 turns of effect immunity completely.

And yes, it is a temporal form copy.

But any replacement talent idea for Draconic Will would be good. Really the purpose is to remove Draconic Will without breaking prodigy symmetry. If we can do it without renaming talents that would be even better.

I think it's a fantastic idea. It's an interesting and thematic prodigy that will work well with Wyrmics.

We already have a bunch of class-focused prodigies; I don't see any harm yet another one.

Can we differentiate this from Temporal Form by making it a passive with a chance to trigger on... I don't know, damage or something? Imagine if this had the same trigger as the current Draconic Body and you took both. "You made me mad, now I'm back at full health AND I'm a dragon, what now punks?"

In the same sense that Arcane Might and Superpower are copies or that Elemental Surge and Endless Woes are copies or Massive Blow and You Shall Be My Weapon. The effects (status and elemental resists) sound useful for every class, and while Wyrmics will probably get the most mileage out of it, I can see having Sand or Acid Breath as a berserker being extremely useful.

It does too much to be a talent.

I'm just saying I'd like it to be a little different but I'm out of ideas at the moment. :P

One idea to differentiate it: make it last 5 turns initially, and then extend the duration by 1 turn every time you crit (at most once per turn), up to 12 turns.
