i think it would be great if mobs could hear you digging and investigate the sound. it wouldn't be that hard to attach the 'mobs know your position' thing from vimsense to digging would it? aslong as it is temporary that is.. some picks could maybe be quieter but take longer to dig, others could be fast and increase the range of the noise effect.. what do you all think?

i think that it may become really handy for luring monsters out and getting the advantage of first strike that you don't get when digging normally

maybe, it wouldn't be all that different form lure i guess, but realisticly even with vimsense,the mobs don't always come to get you, some of em just pace back and forth or try to walk through the wall to you. i think it would mix things up a little, some mobs would already know something is up and already be active when you find em, instead of just lying there.
