EDIT: I realize now turning numlock off almost fixes this, by letting you use shift + numpad to manually target. I still don't want to have to hold shift to manually target, I don't want the game to auto target anything for me ever unless I ask it to. Please add "Manual Numpad Targeting" as an option so I don't have to hold shift :)

Hi. I would really love it if I could check a box in the options called "Manual Numpad Targeting" and manually target with the numpad instead of it trying to select targets for me.

The only way you can do this currently is by using shift + arrow keys and that is really clunky and annoying when I don't want to take my fingers off numpad in order to fight.

Why does this matter? Alchemist, Archmage, and anyone else with AoEs you need to manually target to get the most out of play much more slowly when you have to move your hands around to swap between moving and fighting.

Mouse targetting is ok, but it is MUCH faster to use numpad for movement. I use my left hand for Z/R + hotkeys 1 through = and my right hand for numpad in order to play quickly. Having to move my hand back and forth to the arrow keys is very disruptive and makes the average dungeon take about 30% longer (or longer than that) to clear than if I could just target things manually with the keypad.

This adds up a lot over the course of a game as long as ToME.
