You can learn windblade really easy with the training dummies. I'm guessing other prodigies too.

Yeah that's probably a bit too cheesy with some combinations.

Just remove all those requirement that could be gained that way, since if you can't cheese them against training dummies people will find some other way to do it. Those requirements are boring are unnecessary anyway.

I agree with this.

If this is the option, and I'm not saying it shouldn't be, can we please use base stats for prodigy requirements? It's one thing to say, "Hey, I invested in dex so I could take windblade" and another to say "I stockpiled gear all game to take windblade".

I like the idea of Base Stats being used for Prodigies - You want Draconic Body? 40 Stat Points into Constitution (more for Shalore).

In regards to Prodigies like Windblade, I think it should simply just be changed so that to use the Prodigiy you REQUIRE Two Weapons to use it with. Some basic requirements like this will completely eliminate cheesing from players since they won't be able to use the Prodigy anyway if they focus on Two Handers.

Yes, I agree. In fact, as it stands you do not even have to stockpile gear all game. By the time you can buy prodigies, the stat modifiers you can find or buy are much better than early on. You can just buy a few equipment pieces at level 30, rotate in a heroism infusion and buy any prodigy you want, no matter the stat requirement. Ie the stat requirement just has no meaning, right now.

I'd like to see base stats (including permanent bonuses) used for all talent qualifications, including Prodigies.
