Special bonus for the first boss killed

I have a little idea... How about giving a character special bonus for killing the first boss depending on what boss it is?

To make choice of the first tier one dungeon meaningful
To give Kill Bill achievement actual gameplay effect
To make going for Tier II early an interesting risky choice

You kinda get the recall rod from the first boss, also if you do The Master as your first boss making him give the rod you get an achievement.

As an idea it's rather interesting, especially NM or higher modes.

Would this idea apply if I for say went into Trollmire with my New Halfling, cleared up to the third instance, retreated, repeatedly clearing up to the third instance of all the other 1st tier dungeons, and then decided to kill my first boss?

I can't say I think there should be any reward outside of the Rod of Recall for the first boss killed because of how leveling works and the ability to jump too and fro in the 1st tier dungeons.

Think there should be no real reason to prevent such actions, though extra rewards for tier 1 bosses could be something like 50g or so, but a tier 2 boss could give some real rewards, not to mention Urkis or Master for example. Heck, I would imagine some players going straight for Pride bosses or so.

The Master is the "highest" boss you can get first, because plot.

Unless you do the East-only thing, I guess, and good luck with that. ;)

There are always Celestial classes for those whom nothing's enough, not that The Master wouldn't be enough of a feat.

Technically the pride bosses are still impossible, if you want to do all East, gotta kill Aeryn first!

Then let's imagine I said Aeryn in place of pride boss. Would that change your opinion on the actual idea or do you just like to nitpick about other people's ideas?

I think that strategy costs quite a lot XP and rare items, right?
