Time Warden starting area is boring

In some ways the Time Warden starting area is like the Archmage starting area (limited opponent types and no gear drops), but the Archmage area is tactically interesting: teleporting around islands and dodging slow missiles is fun.

The Time Warden's home town has those cool golden conveyor bridges. How about making the Time Warden area have bunch of holes spanned by golden conveyor bridges? That would be more fun IMHO, and good practice for when the Warden is finally able to cast Wormhole.

Maybe have islands for a level, then a hybrid maze/bridge level, and then the current maze for the last level?

For the hybrid layout, I'd suggest a checkerboard, so it would be possible to walk across the whole thing without using any golden conveyor bridges -- and this is what the spiders will do, while the clever player uses bridges instead.

Bumping this, two ideas:

1. Space/temporal themed minor events, time distortion fields(10% chance to reverse your turn maybe?), gravity fields that SLOWLY draw you towards their center...

2. Some minor temporal horrors as foes too maybe? Not just these time spiders.

Some little broken timelines that slither around like snakes.
Some other broken timelines that are looped onto themselves. (temporal hoop snakes  )

What can drop loot?

How about some Bandits... TIME BANDITS.
(Led by TemporAl Capone. Okay maybe that's too far.)

Don't really need anything to drop loot.
THere can just be some loot that washed up there after being lost in the threads.
