change the way digger works

It is weird that the walls can auto recover, which means if I need 10 turns to dig a wall and I left after 9 turns, I still need 10 turn s to destroy the same well when I come back.
The way to change this is give walls a "health" value, and give diggers a "digging damage".

AFAIK it's only in the sandworm lair that they recover.

by recover I mean if you can't finish the digging in one shot, you have to start over the digging process when you comeback.

That's probably more trouble than it's worth, and I don't see how it would be useful - you shouldn't be digging unless the level, or at least the immediate area, is clear.
I would like to see a change to diggers though - make them useable from the inventory, like rods. There is no reason why we should have to equip them first, since it takes so long to dig anyways.

Having to use them from tool slot (removing psychoport) can easily kill you in vault. Not sure if it is good or bad thing.

Tools and Charms should be different things.
It's just a game mechanic issue right now...
That's how I deal with it.
