Blighted Ruins

I'd like this dungeon to be one floor deeper please.

Running into the boss at character level 2 really sucks, and half my undead characters don't make it out at all.

Maybe remove that shield rune too.

What's so hard about it? Casters have it easy and everyone else can just play hit & run with shielding rune. Undead aren't yeeks, their health allows to accomplish it, as long as you check your shield's remaining strength and enemy status every turn. Btw my skeleton brawlers have been dying repeatedly, before I got the grip of tactic, but now I think, that letting skeletons get to lvl 4 there would result in much less fun during that fight.

Why remove one of the best earlygame advantages in the game? I'm puzzled by this.

I ran Shalore for getting Kill Bill! just because of the starting Shielding Rune...

Unless you mean the Bone Giant's Bone Armor. I'd be okay with that being removed, though realistically it's not too hard to Phase Door away from him until it wears off, so it's mostly a time saver for him to not have it.

The shield rune on the boss, I think is what was meant. Which I didn't realize wasn't a rune at all!

You can kill him just by running around and hitting when you have shield, and it does not. But it takes sooo long time.

Yeah, it's technically easy (and even if it wasn't you could just walk right past), but melee types just take forever to kill it. I think this is more of a symptom of weapon damage being so weak at the very early stages of the game compared to spell damage.

Hit and run doesn't work too well with a ghoul.
Not sure how skeletons are going to be able to get to level 4 there, mine are always level 2 for the boss.

Dodging the Throw Bones and then trying to get a hit past the Bone Shield is really tedious for a melee class there.

The only other non avoidable starter dungeon, Escape from Reknor, forces you to level 3 for the boss. Not keen on bumping character levels though.

Hit and run is simple, even for ghoul. Phase door. Hit a few times, shield, phase door, run, phase door again if necessary, whatever it takes. Got a ghoul reaver through on the first try with no real complications, and I believe I was level 3, though I might've been JUST short... Strange that you seem to be consistently at level 2...

Ghouls have 25% EXP penalty, skeletons 40%, OP was using a skeleton.

My first skeleton was level 3 or 4 for the bosses because I stumbled into 3 lvl 7 mages in a vault and one of them was stupid enough to stay standing on my searing light after I phased door away from them.

DERP. Thought the exp penalty was even on the two races. My bad for not double-checking my information...
