Having spent am embarassing length of time clicking the random button, i feel fairly confident saying that even when properly logged in Stone Warden is not caught by the Random button. Making it... er... 'mostly random' i guess? It'd be nice if it could see them.

Does it catch other custom classes or is that just because it's not in the list without dwarf first?

You might just be unlucky, it is a 1/204 chance, if I'm reading it right.
