Buff Loremasters

A joke I made on IRC, on reflection, seems fairly reasonable: Have Loremasters grant two levels of their skills, instead of one, and have them grant Water Jet.

Water Jet fixes their current problem with having no really relevant mage skills-if it's overly powerful, the simple answer is to just up the CD, as most of the enemies that currently have it can't really spam it anyways. (Or lower the duration of the Coldstun damage type.) When I discussed this dummied skill with Edge, he noted that it was dummied because it basically allowed universal Stun at the time-no longer, thanks to the Spellpower basis of the Stun attempt.

Disarm functions rather poorly at L1-L2 makes the Disarm duration notable-and Spit Poison has an odd direct-multiplication of the talent level that makes higher levels of it linearly better.

It'd be neat to have Loremasters be something that players are happy to see.

The only time I get happy to see one is with a Doomed so I can get mindsear as a long range attack.

They do need buffs indeed.

I'd rather see them give two points in a stat of your choice, but I do agree they need to be better.

I feel worse about meeting a loremaster in a safe zone than about any other in a crowded zone.

they get +2 to a stat in svn now.
