Interrupt resting when ally triggers firetrap

Already posted the cool story in "Today I was instagibbed by". Firetrap was triggered multiple times(about 10) by my necromancer's summons while he was resting which resulted in 600+ damage at level 19. Dying while there are no enemies nearby resting with full hp just to restore mana is.. well.. underwhelming. Especially when the whole story could have been easily avoided - resting process should be interrupted when someone hits a trap, especially in visual range especially your own allies.

Yeah, or if something could be done about how hyper allies are. Why do they always move around so much?

I suspect that it helps allies gather around you, instead of one ally blocking off a hallway. Easier than making a bunch of complicated pathfinding calls, but it does look ridiculous.

Died to the same reason in reknor dwarf's starter dungeon - while i was resting the dude accompanying me tried his best at triggering firetrap as many times as it was [s]humanly[/s] dwarvenly possible. 160dmg at level 1 in less than half a second.

Why not interrupt resting whenever taking damage, and remove the annoying rest interrupt from damage over time effects if it doesn't do much damage?

I feel that traps aren't done right at the moment.

because as i explained in the first post, firetrap triggered multiple times and then multiple fireballs exploded dealing 600+ damage to me in one turn. there was nothing to interrupt once they've exploded, it should've interrupted when the trap was triggered.

With the SVN change to traps mostly making them a vault thing, it should be largely okay.

Just don't rest in the vault. That's probably a bad idea anyways.
