There are too many gem types to remember what the effects will be when they are converted to alchemist's gems. So presenting this information before conversion would be helpful for alchemists.

http://te4.org/wiki/gems has a nice list, it doesn't have the colors, nor their values, nor the artifact gems but it helps.

Yes, but cannot go there evertyime you have a conversion choice.
