ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Often wished Classic Tome could have done this. When you die as Kaezar, the bulwark, and restart the same character, allow the engine to automatically dub the name with II; successive deaths with III, IV, etc. automatically tracking it so long as you keep 'restarting' instead of making a new character. I know several people (including myself) have occasionally done this manually with our names, how difficult would the coding be to allow the game to take care of this for us? After the first couple of dozen characters, it becomes a hassle to have to keep track ourself. I know several of my classic tome characters ended up a few numbers below where they should have been because I forgot to change them.

this should not be too hard to mod in. Just add a variable and vola.
