Adventurer parties should fight each other

Some dungeons in the West, the Sandworm Lair in particular, can become difficult to reach when two or three adventurer parties clump together in a place allied patrols rarely path to. Having them thin each other out would make things a little less frustrating.

Or have factioned adventure parties? Perhaps ones which a player can ally through quests?
How about themes 'adventuring parties'?
Undead groups from the Masters Tower
Giants from the Mountain
Hostile elven forces from the renegades
A rare Orc party
It would be nice to have variety to the existing adv parties. They could fight one other and add to a more vibrant continent.
