Air recovery is too slow

It really hurts my sense of realism that recovery of air after swimming takes so long. When swimming in RL, a quick breath or too is enough to go down underwater again. The rate of recovery from air bubbles in the underwater level in the Lake of Nur (15 air/turn) seems about right. I don't think adjusting this would make a big difference to any gameplay; this normal recovery rate hasn't mattered to me yet. (The air from the bubbles in the lake does matter, of course.)

(And I know it's weird to talk about realism in this game...)

While we're on the subject, I would have thought that air capacity would scale with Willpower (or maybe Constitution). It probably shouldn't be a big scaling.

I like the idea of air recovery on land being instant.

I know from swimming that it takes more than a single breath to recover your air. I find that if I am doing continuous laps, I get more and more out of breath as I keep going. I think recovery on land should be at least 2 or 3 turns.

There's also the issue of resting not caring about air level...was that fixed in 38 and perhaps I didn't notice it?

I think he's referring to the fact that you rest until your resources are full, but that test does not apply to air as a resource. So, you can't rest to recover air if that's the only thing down.

Air recovery on land should be as high as from the air bubbles.
