You cannot use this type of inscription

This message isn't entirely clear - what does it mean by "type"? I *think* it means runes vs. inscriptions (as my skeleton characters seem to be unable to use the latter). Come to think of it, why is "inscription" a subtype of "inscription"? That's kind of silly already!
