ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Something is seriously irking me about the buy/sell prices that I can't really put my finger on so I'll just present the general feeling I get.

Basically, I feel like the prices are always so high that I can never justify buying anything. At the same time, I still feel like I am doing too many mule runs back to town selling things. Though it might be a nerf to carry capacity, perhaps lowering the general price of all store items, while at the same time reducing the sell price of all but the most magical items? Similarly disallow item selling altogether?

In general it's only worth your time selling gems, artifacts and blue/purple items that don't weigh too much. Don't bother carting stuff back and forth, it's a waste of time.

For buying, the shops are useful for filling gaps, or improving your starting equipment once you get a little gold. After a while they stop really being relevant and you can ignore gold for the most part.
