Adventurers resource pools

Adventurers have extremely large mana and Vim pools (presumably the rest too, haven't checked). For example, a lvl 27 necromancer with 37 willpower has over 1000 (777 after sustains) mana, while a player with those stats would have about 400, and monsters of a similar level have about 200 mana after sustains (~400 before).
This usually isn't a problem, but its inconsistency with the rest of the monsters shows up by invalidating several strategies. Mana Clash's utility is changed from a very powerful debuff to simply a good damage skill with some flavour effects.
Another strategy that is affected is draining resource pools by tanking through/dodging damage. Most mana users have a moderate mana pool that they occasionally refill with a manasurge rune, but adventurers have a large pool, and no way of refilling it. This makes manually draining their mana pools more debilitating if you can do it, but almost impossible to accomplish.
My idea for making adventurers more consistent with other enemies is to reduce their resource pools to a similar level of the player or equivalent monsters, and give then some recovery options.
I haven't checked this out, but I would imagine that it would be a big problem for all classes for Stamina with Death Blow, and Vim in a similar way to Mana, if adventurers have their Stamina and Vim pools inflated as well.
