ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

The bonus from power is money could be cut in half and dwarves would still be an amazing race. They have good hit points, good racial skills aside, and +25 to all stats is still a very nice bonus.

Heh, I had the same feeling, but it's already too late. Power Is Money has already been nerfed in svn.

Honestly though, they still have amazing racials and Darkgod only nerfed it down to 35 max instead of my suggested 25. They're still probably the best race nine times out of ten from a power gamer perspective.

Perhaps the whole concept of it needs to be examined.

The idea of nerfing it has been brought up before but I don't think it's been changed since it's implementation.

At one point before there was a bug that made it more powerful than the talent description. But exacerbating things lately is the changes which make saves more effective.
