Exploring the map

While it is fun for the first few times, to explore and discover the map of Maj'Eyal, I think it's a grind to have to explore the full map every game, in search of side dungeons and that master of hiding, mr. alchemist.

So, I have the following proposals:

1) Two new achievements: Mapping the West and Mapping the East:
- when you have completely mapped the west, or the east in one game, you get the corresponding achievements
- in every following game, the map in question will start fully explored, also showing locations of all optional side dungeons

2) give the alchemist a defined area where he may spawn, just like the aspirant mage and the cursed quest, so we don't still have to explore the whole map to find him after getting aforementioned achievements.

With these proposals, the excitement of exploration and discovery will remain for new players, but the grind of exploring the whole map over and over again is removed

Nice idea - it's quite annoying hunting down the random dungeons at the moment.

Alternative idea: Have the worldmap saved between chars by the Fortress (once unlocked once), and pass the map to new characters at birth.

I like this idea, with the addition that it be optional for those who may enjoy roaming the country side and delving into the fow...

Make a new tile just for him, a tiny little hermit hut, so you can remember where he is without giving the player telepathy to him.
