Defense and Physical Power multipliers for size

Size doesn't do much in the current system but it would be interesting if it did more.
The idea is to add a straight multiplier in the combatDefense and the combatPhysicalpower functions based on size category.
For each point of size category difference you are below 3 you'd gain 10% defense and lose 10% physical power. For each size category point above three you'd lose 10% defense and gain 10% physical power.
Halflings for instance would have 10% more defense and 10% less physical power then other races. A great wyrm would get 20% less defense and 20% more physical power.

Yeah, I like this. Should definetely be mentioned somewhere in game info, though, or in a tooltip. I don't think 'Size' in the char sheet has info as of now.

Double post because I think it's appropriate...realized there's a problem with doing it this way, edge.
It doesn't take into account RELATIVE size, meaning that yes, the halfling would be harder to hit than a human, but a human with the same stats would not get a defense bonus against the wyrm(and likely should).
So don't have the bonuses based on how far you are from average/human-size(3), but on the difference between the sizes of the attacker and defender. I'd suggest applying this only to the attacker(so -attack instead of +defense)
so if halflings are size 2, humans 3 and wyrms 5, a human attacking a halfling has -10% to hit but +10% physical power, the halfling attack the human has the opposite modifiers, and the wyrm has -20%/+20% against the human and -30%/+30% against the halfling.

Agreed, it should be relative. It doesn't make sense that two giants have the same defence and attack modifiers against each other as they do against a halfling.

Been thinking about this topic again, and I wonder if it is possible to resurect this topic.....
Size modifier is such a "rare" ego ( only 2 or so artifacts that I know of, shouldn't it be used as in the D&D3/4 rules... ie it LIMITS/ENHANCES what weapons you can wield and how
for example a halfling cannot wield a longsword (physically) unless he is prepared to be a total barbarian and use it as a 2 handed sword, but if you do make the sacrifice and use one of the rare + sizes, then you should gain the ability to se a 2 handed weapon in 1 hand, after all a giant holding a 2 handed sword is holding a reletive longsword.
we already have all the weapons clasified as either small normal 2 handed, why not integrate the size into this .
Currently there are only 2 size races (small and normal), adding in and using the large size for + size category should be theoretically possible....?
(ex asm programmer here, otherwise would give it a try to code it, just waaay to long out of the world)
