ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I have been playing for a while... and have no earthly idea where I am on track to geting the Wildfire and Cyromancer unlocks... Heck, the requirements could have even changed.

My suggestion is have a way to check progress - not just an individual character sheet, which might say "my Archmage has to date done 14,223pts fire damage"... what what is my life-time total... which I presume is the score to accumulate the one million fire damage to unlock Wildfire.

I guess this could be done on the web site while hold all out character records, but in-game might be nice as well.

However, what would be nice is an additional filter for displaying only normal / insane / explorer achievments. Scrolling through a list three times as long as it needs to be when tracking your current mode is a bit annoying.

Sorting or filtering by difficulty is a good start, but wouldn't it be much nicer to have them arranged by achievement type? There would have to be a decision on whether to designate category by *how* you get the achievement (e.g, "The Bigger They Are..." for boss-kill unlocks), or *what* you get for that effort (e.g, "Classy!" for class unlocks ) but since now that I think about it, there are a lot which don't actually 'give' you anything, so it'd have to be sorted by the kind of activity that unlocks it.

I don't have access to the list right now, seeing as I'm writing this from my phone and it's half past midnight, but some ideas could be...

- A category for boss kills (my suggestion above or something better)
- A category for accumulative achievements (Pest Control, Fire/Ice x1000000, etc) "One By One" or "Every Little Bit Counts" or "One Step At A Time" or "You're Almost There!"
- one for doing helpful quests (Damsel, Lost Merchant, etc) "I'll Save You!"
- and one for the ones where you're quite unhelpful (killing escorts and whatnot) "Rules Are For Suckers"
- maybe a category for some of the weird or funny achievements "Huh?!" or "What Game Are YOU Playing?"

And I'm picturing this as either collapsible trees or some other layout such as tabs..
