Boss music!

It would be rather snazzy methinks if as soon as you see a boss on a level you get a new, high tempo track playing. The music could keep playing until you defeat the boss or flee the level. Some bosses could have their own individual boss tracks (The Master in particular I'm thinking, and the Pride leaders sharing a rockin' tune).

Also music made for Battle for Wesnoth, if the licenses are compatible.

I like
http://freeplaymusic.com/, personally.
Butterfly Tea is a band that almost exclusively produces royalty-free fantasy-themed music, and they're on Jamendo.
I'm going to take DarkGod's comment as license to start looking for music that fits ToME's main themes and styles and which also matches certain events!
Here's a quick list of earlyish-game things that deserve their own themes, in my opinion:
-Bill the Stone Troll
-The Assassin Lord's Lair
-Derth during the thunderstorm.
-The Battle with Urkis
-The Temporal Rift
-Fighting Your Future Self
-The battle with the Grand Corruptor, and the assault on the hidden town.
-The Orbituary area.

Found this one on the Battle for Wesnoth site. I could check with the author if DG liked it, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind. It might do for Derth of something else.

Oh man, I have a great theme song for this. It's from the
Assemblee, meaning that it's under the Creative Commons license; specifically from
this thread (by Wyvern). Unfortunately the links are dead.
But I tracked it down and uploaded it here:
