Minor idea: Cursed Slash improvement

Slash is terribly unsexy, just a straight up damage boost with nothing particularly interesting going on. That's not necessarily a bad thing, per se, but here's a few of off th'cuff ideas for sexification:
A.) Slash with a gloom-enhancing version of dominate added. When you hit something with it, it either increases Gloom's effect on them (increased duration or power, depending on the gloom effect that hits) or lowers their resistance to gloom/increases gloom's effectiveness rating against them, for a duration. Tlvl would increase duration and/or effect.
B.) Slash forces a gloom check on whatever it hits. I think I like this one the best. Tlvl would either increase slash-induced gloom's effectiveness rating or add a radius to the check forcing.
B1.) Anything hit with a slash-induced gloom effect suffers more powerfully, akin to how conduit works for sustained auras.
C.) Slash works like a activated cleave, with a percentage chance to hit adjacent enemies -- chance and possibly number of enemies hit (0,0,1,1,2,2,3?) would increase with talent level. Cleave might synergize with with slash for additional smackage.
