ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Can we have explored territory be marked on the minimap by other color? In big open spaces it's difficult to remember if I explored all the area or just walls. Some non-regular wall configurations also could be mistaken for unexplored areas, especially if player return to the game after several days respite.
