disable entries that do not apply?

Hello,
I would be nice to disable or change the color of entries that cannot or should not be chosen; for instance:
- turn gray and disable spells if mana is too low
- turn gray items in shop if stat is too low
What do you think of it ?

I might be inclined to suggest "cannot afford" rather than "cannot wear" for the purchase screen, for consistency's sake.

I like the idea applied to items.
But there should be 2 different categories. Unwearable, also present in the inventory window, could be shown with a light red, and unaffordable, where grey could be used, only present in the shop window.
I also think that colors could be used universally in the different windows. The same way damage has its different colors in the log, a weapons description could make use of the different elemental colors to represent additional damage bonuses. I'm not sure about resistances, it could be a bit too much.
And in the case of equipment, the description could be similar to what's seen in the talents screen, green and red values for met or not met requirements.

Problem is that we're already using colors on inventory.
Grey - unidentified
White - unenchanted
Green - moderately enchanted
Blue - strongly enchanted
Orange - randart
Yellow - trueart
I'm not convinced that there is a good place to fit in "can't use", "can't afford" and "can't use or afford" in that list, and I wouldn't want to lose the color indicators we already have.
