HP-bars for target(s)

Hi and thanks for a great game. I'm following along eagerly to see where this will evolve. Now, I have a simple suggestion for an interface improvement: HP-bars.
I love the feedback of watching damage numbers floating off your target, but when playing tome4 I find myself constantly checking the remaining hp's of enemies to decide if I need to use abilities in combat. Currently, that's the one bit of the interface that isn't very streamlined, since I currently have to mouseover the target before returning to my (preferred) mode of keyboard-only play.
I think the interface would be made (even) better if the hp's of enemies were more visible by showing hp bars.
1) By showing info about the 'last target' somewhere in the left bar of the screen (mainly hp's and maybe status effects)
OR
2) By adding visual hp-bars to the actual tiles of (all/the closest) enemies on the map similar to what is done in many rts games.
I'm sure I can't be the only player with this need to see how close the enemies are to defeat?
