Simply put, I'd like a way to see what the skills you can learn do after completing an escort quest.

Having never played a sun paladin, I was quite confused whether I should get chant of fortress and chant of fortitude. Sounds like almost the exact same thing, and I had no idea what either did. I wound up getting +1 magic instead.

I agree, I find myself constantly ending up opening the code files, to look at the talents' descriptions and take my decision.

Maybe this could be implemented via a next step in the dialog, showing the chosen talent's standard description (with numbers calculated over the TL you'll get, quite simple if you already add the talent to the player like in the level-up dialog prior to confirming), and with at the bottom Confirm/Cancel buttons (Cancel would remove the talent point and bring back to the reward's choice menu, Confirm would simply accept the choice and exit like confirming works in the level-up dialog).
