I feel like alchemist protection should protect against status effects caused by bombs as well. Or maybe just lvl 5? I'm getting really annoyed freezing myself heh.

When Alchemist Protection is at level 5 (with 100% self-protection from bombs), can the damage to yourself and the golem be removed from the output, as an example:

You are burning....
You take 0.00 damage from fire.

It prevents resting, amd makes me re-check all output in case I have missed an out of LOS mage etc.
If the output could be removed, then I would know that I am really under attack.

Also, could this protection be extended to include escort quests, as the bomb is a valuable target softener in the hands of an alchemist

I would say nay to this as the reward for beating an escort quest is worth the thought of do I want to catch that escort in my blast?

Also, I cannot see any way to reason why they would be immune to your bombs.
