Looking for a good writer

Hello
As you might have noticed I have ideas for ToME but my writing capacity ends fairly quickly, my chat dialogs are probably not so good, although they will do.
But I want more, I had planned to write small texts that explain the background story. Like while exploring a dungeon you find a note, a book and so on.
But I realise now I am perfectly incapable of writing them :/
So would somebody be interrested ? I'd profive the basic idea and background and you'd need to make a good, readable, text out of it

I have written stories and a fantasy novel. Would be happy to help write TOME. Indeed I am glad that there is a way non-coders can contribute!

Ahhh great
Well then let's start, how far did you get in the game so I dont spoil you as long as we can
Let's start with the trollshaws, it would need a few notes, like torn pages from a book, about an adventurer that came before you. His notes become more and more worried, speaking about a huge troll chasing him, hunting him down with a tree trunk (that'd be bill).
If you could weave in the scaterred notes some hints about where the adventurer put his old treasure stash it'd be even better but I'm not sure how it'd turn out. If you can it'll probably start a quest if the player gets all the notes.
PS: Can we get a link to your novel ?

Sounds fun!
Re how far: I played a mage through to one of the prides, but then died to something stupid -- that was my most successful character yet. I wouldn't particularly worry about spoiling me though, because I read all kinds of stuff around here
The novel isn't online because many publishers consider putting something online publishing and I don't want to run afoul of anything.
I'll start on the notes this weekend when my relatives clear out.

Ok thanks
*SPOILERS WARNING*
If you finish it have have time for more:
* In tol falas ther could be books/notes about the staff of absorption, not named as such though just "a powerful artifact" that the Master is studying, believing it could be used to empower himself
* All over the west there could be short notes that explain the war of the ring, the demise of sauron, the pacification that followed (including some wars with Umbar)
* A story of the creation of the Sunwall & the Gates of Morning (humans crash landed there in the second age, they camefrom Numenor and the elves are some of the Avari that did not go west but instead explored the east), leading to the creation of sun paladins and anorithils and their conflict with the Pride (obviously this is a llong topic is needs to be split in many books/notes/...)
* The arrival of the istari in the east, their notes showing that they grew corupt with time and decided to "abduct" the free orc pride by passing as orcs themselves, abusing the orcs as much as the free people
* many many more ;>

If you'd like any editing done (checking for typos, punctuation, spacing, consistency, etc.), I'd be happy to lend a hand. Used to be a professional editor for academic and scientific texts....and even once for a video game (a kids' game for the Nintendo DS).

That's an example of the new lore system (basic for now) to hold Gwai's texts
ushumgal: Well you can go over all the chats for one

(in game/engine/modules/tome/data/chats/), if you change one, edit it in palce so I can make a diff/patch

Will do! Do you want me to just fix the basic things, or is it ok to change the sentence structure & wording around to make things prettier/flow better/ etc.?

Do not hesitate to make things prettier/flowing better, I know I suck at it
