I suggest physical, spell, and mental resistance be renamed physical defense, spell defense, and mental defense since they behave very much like the defense ability (as far as I can tell).

This gives us a nice separation between these effects and physical damage resistance and spell damage resistance which work more like elemental resistance (as far as I can tell).

We could then rename physical damage resistance and spell damage resistance to physical and spell resistance or rename elemental resistance to elemental damage resistance.

Or maybe physical save, mental save, spell save? Short for saving throw.
